Ninth Ave. Building Addition

The new building addition wraps around an existing tenement building in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen district, fusing the two buildings together, which are spatially connected in the interior. Four new residential units were developed as part of this project. The penthouse unit is a double height space with custom designed spiral staircase, and an adjacent wall which is punctured with colored glass block windows that light up as stars both from the interior and the exterior.
